I am taking a job that will will put me in the Marinette/Menominee area.
Anybody from that area? Looking for some general info such as gun shops etc.. |

Lived in M & M in my youth and graduated from Marinette HS many moons ago.
Haven't been up there for several years now, but used to go to *Pete's Sport Shop* in Peshtigo to look at the *wonder 9's* ie: Beretta M9 etc...when they were new models and had recently become USGI standard. I have looked at some USGI collectibles (M1's / bayos / etc) in recent years that were from a shop in Marinette I think...don't know the name though. Good hunting and fishing up there. I did mucho grouse, woodcock and duck hunting while in high school. Caught my first big rainbow trout behind Little River Country Club bushwhacking up the banks of Little River. Smelting and snagging season used to be fun times up there and the whole town shuts down over deer season. Enjoy your time up there and give us a report eh? |
