I think they didn't want to let out their full potential during pre-season just to actually shock everyone with the first game.....Lets see where it goes from here....

Newblkrifle, where you bowhunting? I'm hunting near 7 mile fair on 80 acres of private land.I love the morning hunts better that evening.

I'm hunting near Sullivan.
The landowner's kids just bought 2 atvs and rip it up daily (30 acres). They mostly do it at night and weekends.
So, we'll see if the mornings are still good.
I just spent $400+ to bowhunt in Illinois (I know it's a sin) but, my dad has a bunch of friends down there and the bucks put shame to Wi bucks.
I lived there until I was 10 yo. I've been going down to see relatives for 25 years since and finally pulled my head outta my ass last year and checked it out.
It's silly what I saw last year during the rut just driving around.
Why in the hell do they all come up here?!
