Not even discussing their putrid anti-gun bias, I am so sick of seeing a Journal/Sentinel that looks like a South African newspaper, after apartheid and confiscation of the white settlers property that they had farmed for a 100 years.

Every front page is dominated by photos of (excuse me) African-Americans, both their incessant crimes and the inevitable "puff" piece about a succesful black entrepeneur.

Just plain sickens me. This country is headed toward a civil war. City VS rural.

If this gets deleted it perfectly illiustrates what Imus and I are fed up about.

I don't know that it is city vs. rural, but I understand.  I only have one question - Why are you even bothering with reading the Milwaukee Urinal Sentinel? When I go visit my parents in Green Bay, I can hardly stand reading the newspaper there, and I have no doubt anything coming out of Milwaukee is so much worse.
I think that it is more likely to be conservative/traditional vs. liberal/uneducated/brainwashed sheep.  (Those who say noone NEEDS/DESERVES to make that much money, and other things besides)  Those who love this country; think there is something worth preserving; believe that the average citizen is NOT the problem; believe their money belongs to them, not the government; believes the government serves them, not the other way around; believes in freedom, not an ever increasing and encroaching goverment; people like these may eventually end up fighting to preserve the traditional American way of life. (I TRULY HOPE NOTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS)

Unfortunately, I think it eventually will. There are far too many who look to government to take care of them and solve all problems for them. Far too many think that they are owed something, and that they deserve whatever they want. (They usually can't  explain why they are owed, but this is the way they act.) Add in all the others, and there are quite a few of them whose actions are doing damage to this country in so many ways.
Wisconsin has changed in so many ways, our greatgrandparents (and grandparents) would not recognize it. Unfortunately, short of very drastic measures (and I'm not sure if I would even want to do things that way) I think the Wisconsin many of us grew up in is gone. (And I think that is truly a pity. Even though many may ridicule Wisconsin traditions as redneck and backwoods hicks, I think that those traditions had(and have) much to offer. People certainly were more friendly, and you usually knew your neighbors and what was going on in your neighborhood.

As far as their anti-gun bias, I think they simply don't believe there is any reason to own a gun. Like many other Liberals, there is nothing to argue about, you simply have no point to argue. (The Second Amendment doesn't exist for them, but the First Amendment is holy and untouchable. But how you enforce the First without the Second is a question they haven't even asked, much less answered.)

i get it... correction, i got it for the classifieds(rummage and estate sales) to buy things for my home.
they tried to F*** me on canceling because i got a promotional pick n save guift card for signing up at the store while getting groceries. they told me they would charge me for those promotions if i were to cancel. i basicaly told them to FOAD, and what kind of business practices they are using. i also mentioned i am very vocal when i get screwed and that this will be posted all over the net.
needles to say i won the 15$ argument

it is a liberal piece of trash and a waste of paper.
they have raceist columnists, who never miss a beat writing about how milwaukees crime problem is due to the white man not giving jobs and oppertunity to the black man.

i dont know if it will be city vs rural....but i tend to agree with you..something bad is coming, maybe even soon.  with everything that is going on in this world & right here at home, things are slowing swirling down the toilet of doom. All i can say is...be ready.

I also think it is wise to be prepared. My main focus right now is to complete my preps. This encompasses a wide variety of subjects, from equipment to supplies to contingency planning.
But there are a bunch that I work with that also feels this way, and they are also preparing. Wisconsin has changed so much, so fast, and it isn't for the better. After I came back from being in the military and found out that Green Bay actually went down to Chicago advertising for welfare recipients, hock.gif I knew there was something wrong. Then after living there for a few years, there was no doubt in my mindhe (and at all hours of the night, every night of the week. I don't remember that happening. It was usually restricted to Friday and Saturday nights, and it usually didn't last past 2am) Then was the crime. It went up and crimes were being committed in places they rarely, if ever, were committed, and some of them were of the crime that had rarely been committed. (At least I don't remember many of them in the 23 years that I lived in Green Bay) Then you watch the news and things only get worse. I have almost completely stopped watching the news, and that even includes the local news. All that happens is that I usually just get pissed off, and I don't want to walk around like that all day, every day.

I agree. I am sick of the finger pointing that its always whities fault for not sticken around the inner city.I work in it now and the people there dont seem to want to work.
They need to learn to help themselves and we need to stop giving hand outs. As far as the goverment goes they seem to forget who put them there. They have gotten way to big.I too think the time will come when a correction is in order. Soon. Paul

Could you guys be more specific?  I'm looking at yesterday's front page and I don't see anything about excuses for black people's crimes.  I see lawn mower racing, the new police chief options, US troops rescuing people, a tribute to soldiers, and a gas station that floats.  Yesterday's paper was very similar.
The only racist columnist is Eugene Kane and Jim Stingl hates guns but other than that it's not a bad paper.  Much better than the Chicago Tribune.
You guys should check out the outdoors column.  Bob Ripendorf is a pretty good writer.  Link

I am only talking about the newspaper and not the other issues discussed in this thread.
