| I might be moving to WI. I saw what is allowed in each state. It says “no pistol caliber mg's w/o permit”. Would I need a permit for each pistol caliber MG (I have an Uzi, MAC10, MP5, Thompson)? Are these easy to get? |
Actually yer fine. The MG section of wisconsin's gun law is kinda wierd. FMD could explaine it better but pistol cal MGs are perfectly legal. As long as you have your NFA paperwork in order your GTG there is no seperate state permit or any local permit system for NFA weapons. |
Actually, it says (paraphrase): machine guns converted from rifles to fire pistol calibers for non-agressive purposes are prohibited. As long as you don't own an M16 converted to fire 9mm simunitions only; you should be fine. |
