I'm getting an itch to own a .50BMG rifle and I can't scratch it with the scratch I have. Anyone own one?? I just hope I get one before Jan. 2009. |

I hear ya buddy!!! I've been wanting one for a few yrs but just can't afford it. I asked if anyone had one they could bring to the last shoot and didn't get a reply. I don't know if there are many around? WHEN Stang |

possibly new anti-gun (democrat) president, and maybe liberal majority in congress. 50 calibers are like class 3's. They are barely registered on crime stats, but the libs love to make them out as "weapon of choice" for whatever bad guy group is in vogue (terrorists), and get them banned with support of the ignorant. |

Anyone have a State Arms .50? They're a Wisconsin company, and I hear good things about them on the .50 board here. I shot an AR-50 at Defensive Edge's Precision Rifle class a few months ago, and that was a hoot. I'm tossing around the idea of getting a .50 before they're illegal (hey, FMD, how's that for optimism? Anyway, who has a State Arms Rebel that wants help burning ammo? I'd like to try one. |
| EDM Arms Windrunner here. I live near madison. IM me if you know a good place to shoot it. Must be 200+ yards. Shooting a 50 at 100 yds is like only using 3 inches of your dick. Why do it??? Because i haven't found a place that will let me shoot it yet. Gun clubs are out of the question. They all say no. Anyone have any property with a sufficient backstop??? |
Have you checked the spring green club? I hear (third or fourth hand) that they allow pretty much anything there. |
If you want to shoot from a tree I can provide 200+. Maybe 500 if I can get my people to approve it. |
