Wow What a day I will be going back again Saturday The opening ceremony was great all the NRA Honchos But Ted stole the show after playing the Star Spangled Banner he did about a 20 minute talk and it was great. Ted ' target='_new'>  KaBoom At Opening ' target='_new'>  Me at Opening We had third row center ' target='_new'>  Meeting Ted he signed all 3 of my Glocks & and a MP5 Mag ' target='_new'>  Gunny signing my Glocks ' target='_new'>  Gunny & Me ' target='_new'>  Gunny signing KaBoomS Uzi Stock & His Book ' target='_new'>  Gunny & KaBooM ' target='_new'>  If you can go Get There Ted & Gunny are back on Saturday Plus all the exhibits |
Yup And Hes cool as hell bring a camera you can get one of the guys from Glock to take pictures If you own a Glock Take the slide Ted will be there early he will sign anything but a guitar I think Just Sat for gunny I could be wrong |
They should, but that's because we didn't get the contract to set up all the exhibits.  The Kimber display (on the other side of Taurus from the Glock booth), now that was... "Perfection"

Just got back a minute ago, damn that was a great convention! Lots of free stuff!  Got gunny's autograph on the posters they were handin out and on a GLOCK shirt I bought for that sole purpose. Even got to play with the new PS90 and FS2000, pretty nice guns. Really liked the Kimber and GLOCK booths, lots of stuff on display. ETA: here ya go!  Really great Maxim booth  Winter camo on an AR? I couldn't resist  Highlight of the weekend! Great show all in all, too bad it's all the way in St Louis next year |

Heyas in the WI hometown. I managed to poke my head today past the IL socialist curtain and took a ride up to the convention. A great time was had by all. Got in a few autographs.  Shook some hands.   Gotta say Gunny is a class act. Just a damn nice human being. Really like the FN2000... yup thats me.  Also good news on the SCAR. I was told they will be available for civy use next year in three calibres. The SCAR-H 308, SCAR-L 223, and in 6.8. can't wait. |

I think the excitement of not having to show my FOID card every time I picked up a gun got to me.

Did anyone go to the banquet? I really didn't feel like going, but I had a free ticket. Good thing I did. General Tommy Franks was hilarious. So was Bubba. People were wiping tears from their eyes, they were laughing that hard. Gotta say, though, I don't think I've every been to a banquet where there was so little food on the plate. I probably could have put the whole piece of tenderloin in my mouth at once, and chewed it. Same with the little piece of chicken. Sure were some beautiful women there last night, too. |
Unless they had it behind the displays... I didn't see it. If they had it i'm sure it would've been displayed with the 2000 and P90. |
