Well it was joked about at the DETC pistol class about making jewelry out of the Federal HST's. Now it is a reality. This is more or less a prototype, that I will be wearing to my company Christmass party on Saturday. It is a tie tack. There are plans for other things, but this is what I have for now. I just thought I would share.

Sorry the pics a not very clear. They are ok, but could be better.

Take one fired 9mm HST or the caliber of your choice.

Mount a stud on the back. Yes it is centered it just looks offset due to the angle.

When you are done. One tie tack.

I want one as a nose ring!

Actually, I think it's a cool tie-tack idea. ..... particularly if you can get tie-tack sales to cover your ammo costs.

Very cool
If you ever decide to sell those, I would be interested in a tie tack and a set of earings for the gf.

Here is the finished product in use. It is a little bit difficult to see due to the color of the tie, but I hope you get the idea.

I am working on a set of prototypes for cuff links, earrings, and a pendant for a necklace. I have yet to figure out what to charge for those interested. I think I will have some working pieces in a week or two. I can then let whomever know what it might cost.

If there are people truely interested IM me with what you might want. Also what caliber, which at this point is 9mm, 40S&W, and 45ACP. Also specify if gold or silver color for the "hardware" is preferred. If no prefference then leave it  out.

Thanks for looking and thanks for the interest.
