WI Gun Owners Inc - the "no comprimise" group. They're the ones who didn't do sh*t to help the PPA, and then after the veto override failed, they were there handing out flyers why they thought it was a crappy bill. The media picked up on this of course, and then said "even a WI gun owners group thought CCW in WI was bad." Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but WI Gun Owners idea of "not giving an inch" hasn't done shit for us yet. It's a noble idea, but it doesn't work. If they want Vermont style carry, then they should fund something through the courts, because it will NOT happen through the legislature. Of course, they had no interest in an open carry rally or supporting open carry and were scared just like everyone else of getting zip-tied by the police. In my opinion, "no comprimise and zero-tolerance" doesn't work. Just like the antis try to kill us with a thousand cuts, we're going to have to get our rights back one step at a time - its not going to happen overnight because everyone WI wakes up and elect all pro-gun legislators. I won't tell you how I really feel, but really, send your money elsewhere. PPA was WCCA's baby, the WRPA gives range grants to clubs across the state - I don't know what WIGO does with their money, but I havent seen any results yet and their "fuck the PPA" attitide really pissed me off. |
