Slicker than snot in the Springs this morning! I left early to drive to work, only to find that the police had Powers closed at Barnes. I heard on the radio that Hwy 24 was closed between the Springs and Limon. I turned around and came home.  If you must drive, be careful out there!

| This wasn't an Albuquerque low actually. It strayed too far north. We'd had 2-3ft here in town had it gone that far south. It's still pretty bad out there, regardless though. I25 is shut down now between monument and castle rock, so no work for me today. cotrip.org has info on conditions. |
| South side of Colorado springs, along I25 doesn't look too bad. Some slush here and there, and a little snow on the ground. Soon as you head east though, wind gets bad and everything goes to hell. North side of town isn't too great, and only gets worse towards Monument. |
