I'm trying to create an NFA/ Firearms trust through a template from here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_17/334067_NFA_Trust_Sample.html
I tried editing this document to make it specific to Colorado. Since I do not have any children, only 22, I changed the beneficiaries to my Parents. Is this acceptable? They are in another state. I can upload my trust if someone could help me nail out any Colorado specific trust requirements I am missing. I am hoping it meets the ATF requirements. Thanks again for any help. https://www.dropbox.com/s/usq2h5yc8113nkd/Jared%20Battle%20Revocable%20Living%20Trust%20%28Draft%29.doc |

Have a lawyer draft your trust. You'll get the peace of mind that it's done right.
FWIW I drafted my first trust in KS (I'm an IT guy, not a lawyer) and was not comfortable with it. I had TheGunCollector's wife draft my CO trust for me, and I'm much more comfortable with it. I've even started the process to transfer my NFA items from my first trust to this one. Do it right the first time, don't regret it. |

What is the going rate for an NFA trust? |

What is the going rate for an NFA trust? Unless you're an atty , pay one. GC's wife or Rodney NFATrustguy, he's in loveland. Like GC's spouse, great return time for any contact. |

I'm right near loveland so that will be perfect. Thanks for that info. |
