Hi All,

It looks like Michael de Bethencourt is holding his snub revolver and knife course in CO. Snubtraining Course Info

I just completed his intro "Secrets of the CC Snub" course and have a thread HERE about it.

Firstly, I strongly recommend the course for anyone that carries a revolver for defense.

It's a stretch though, post here if you're going. I could consider attending part two.

Cheers!

I'll be there.  I went to his class in Lake George two years ago and had a blast.

I have taken all four of his classes and highly recommend them - apparently he is not teaching his weapon retention class anymore.  Michael runs you through enough manipulations during each class so you are fully capable of taking the advanced class the day after you take the secrets class and you will not fall behind or miss anything.

I could be wrong, but I believe he allows you to attend the same course for free as a "recertification" if you have already attended it in the past, but I don't see any mention of it on his website.  It may be worth an email to ask.

As far as the medical class goes, Chris Mailliard (Asym Response) is teaching a four hour Casualty Care class down at Bowers Tactical in Centennial on September 8th for $75.  I have been to two of his classes and highly recommend them as well.  http://www.asymresponse.com/

He will still let a student re-attend a class. He mentioned it in class.

I'm still mulling it over.
As much as I want to have the basics from "Secrets" more confidently dialed, it's also a money situation.
I just spent money following through on recommendations he made in the first class. One or both of my carry revolvers will be out getting worked on, I just ordered some new stocks and a holster. The smithing and gear has used up available funds for now.
I would like to go though. I'm working on pulling together additional income for the remainder of August and we'll see.

Thanks for the lead on the medical / trauma training too.

Cheers!
