I rarely go to shows any more but had an old wallhanger I was hoping to sell so I went to Tanner today. Got there around 11, crowded at first, find a nice older gentleman that was interested in the old shotty & we made a deal. Then started really looking at was out there. First observation is that 99% of the ammo was way over priced, then saw a $100 difference in Glock prices, basically everything was priced higher than can be found in the local shops. Lots of PMags starting @ $15 for Gen2, up to $20-$25 for Gen3.
Forgot to ad that for me the best deal appeared to be new in the box S&W Shield 9mms for $489-no didn't take one home. A few less "strange folks" haha, I think we all know the type, then what I remember. About 12:30-1p the crowd thinned out, I left shortly after with 2 boxes of 62gr 5.56 & 1 box of CCI Mini-Mags for $35. Just my observations. |

I noticed that prices are still high but much lower than a month ago. |
| I noticed some things had come down in price as well but ammo was still to high for me. I did find two guys selling pmags gen2 for 12.95 a pice so I snagged a few couldn't believe that!!!! A lot of the ar's were still way to high priced and a scar for 4200.00$ yikes!!!!!!! Also saw plastic ak mags for 10.00bucks a pice as well!! |
