Anyone here a member? Do you like it? Is it worth joining? I've looked the website over and driven out by the range a few times. It looked pretty decent and didn't seem to crowded. I'm thinking about dropping the cash and becoming a member.

Don't use the rifle or pistol side, but do shoot skeet there, and at TSSC (Buckley, but only has trap and skeet ranges).
As for the pistol and rifle side, about the only time that they are slammed is during sighting in time for hunting season during weekends. If you looking for a range that just about covers everything (rifle, pistol and shotgun (both trap and skeet)), then it a good range close to town. Also, you may want to look at Aurora gun club as well. www.auroragunclub.com |

There are usually a good # of different types of shoots on the weekends for different disciplines. Being there are 3 ranges on the rifle side there is still plenty of room just for casual shooting. Weekdays are usually quiet. We have real concrete benches as well. Sure beats built up wooden ones. Summertime we cover the the shooting ares that are not already covered to give a little more shade as well. All in all the majority of the folks are good people. But, like always there are always a couple of asses in the crowd. It is easy for me to recommend the club. The only downside, is that it get's pretty muddy in the spring downrange. That is just due to the clay. Come on out. We'd love to have you!

Well, I'm a member of the GGC now. Went to the membership meeting- seemed to be a great bunch of people who are truly concerned about our gun rights. Had a one on one range orientation yesterday with one of the members, a really great guy who came out on his time because I couldn't make it to the orientation over the weekend, Thanks!.
I haven't shot yet but will either head out today or sometime soon but it looked like a great place and very well setup, I can't wait to get out and shoot. |
