Went out to his place today... I must say I was impressed! He gave me and some friends a quick tour, said to come back on 9 NOV for a real tour. He's got soooo much stuff!!!
How are his gun prices? I didn't have anything to compare them to. |

Sounds like you had a good time, glad you did. Mel's a good guy... some here don't like him, but I've always gotten along well with him. Take the full tour if you have time, he has quite a collection.
His prices aren't bad for local, I'd say comparable to other fun shops in the area. |

There was a time a few years back when I went out there to shoot a couple of my handguns. I rode my motorcycle and a big ass thunder storm moved in, it started POURING! Everybody pretty much left. Mel invited me in and offered food and drink. Hung out for almost 2 hours before it cleared up. That pretty much told me the kind of person he is. Definitely a little rough around the edges, I'm sure he rubs some people the wrong way. |
