oops...hit the go button a bit too fast there...anyway, I am contemplating a job move to the south of Denver area after living most of my life in Georgia. I'm a part-time LEO as well as FFL holder, and was wondering how strict the FFL laws are and what the hoops are i'll have to jump thru to keep my type 1 FFL. Also, am an active Class III shooter/owner and hope its machine gun friendly and there are places to shoot. And lastly, if any of the Sheriff's Depts or other jurisdictions hire certified part-timers.... thanks in advance...and hey, love the snow here now as i'm visiting this week... |
| Check out the Colorado section over Here. They can probably answer your questions about LE if someone here doesn't have a definite answer. I don't think the Sheriff departments around the metro area are part time however. |
