January 27th 28th and 29th Plan ahead |
|
Sounds like fun! I'm interested in checking this out but have never been. Thus this is my public request for a volunteer to meet up with. Also can someone PM me the rough location? If its "an hour outside of Everett" I can make it. If its "an hour outside of Spokane", I aint gonna make it.Â

Its more than one, but less than the other. |

If I'm not busy, I may try and make it, I need to shoot some of my guns. |

I'd be interested in showing up for sure. I'll be coming from Burlington so it's a good 2.5 hours to Chehalis. If anyone would be willing to meet up Saturday at around 10-ish I'd be happy to meet anywhere in the area. I've a few steel targets and such I can bring out as well.
Unless we end up with a hell of a snow storm on Friday night.......Then I'm staying home and drinking Baileys and coffee.Â

This sounds like a boatload of fun. I wish I could have found out about this earlier so I could plan for it better. (I'm new)
But I will be watching the WA Hometown forum for the next one. EDIT: Upon reconsideration, I could come out for the day on Saturday. Anybody 'meeting up' on Saturday (morning)? |

We've only been doing it 4 times a year for something like 15 years or so. I can see where it would be easy to miss.... ![]() LOL, what I meant was that I just recently found out that this event even existed in general. I've had the RV all tucked away and winterized, so I'm somewhat reluctant to go undo all that in the middle of winter. That's a Saturday my wife has to work, so I'd have to have the kids with me. I just think I can plan for it better.... now that I know to watch for such announcements, etc. |

Well worth it for this weekend to me and others that will be there with a rv too. |

Well behaved kids have been welcomed at LCR for years and less well behaved children have been tolerated. You'll need to keep an eye on any Start working on getting that RV ready, and make the trip. You won't regret it. Quoted:

I already been kinda surveying the wife and she doesn't seem too keen on letting the kids go; the event in general seemed a bit overwhelming to her. (I showed her some of the videos...mostly the ones contained more camping/camaraderie rather than the tannerite explosions and automatic weapons But still very compelling But I can tentatively plan for the Spring ("Rain LCR shoot"...I thought I read that somewhere)....especially after I've been there once to get a better feel for what's needed. |
|
Over the last few years tannerite isn't around like it was when it was a new thing so no need to worry about that.
Its more about getting away from the city, some shooting time and education of guns, dirt toys like quads, drones, food drink and relaxation and the good story's around camp with some great people. |

Okay, so to give ample time for a reply, may I ask about location/directions to the LCR gravel pit or rendezvous spot for any Saturday shooters heading that morning?
(or does that info come out at the last minute somehow to keep the location under wraps). Thank you. |

I may be headed down Saturday morning from the Everett area...I can caravan it or do a meet up to lead in. |

I'm coming from the Tacoma/Puyallup area, so sounds like I'd be on your way. Just a suggestion we can can refine if necessary, but what about the meeting near the I-5/SR-512 interchange?...like say the McDonald's parking lot near there (not far off the freeway, can be seen from the freeway, etc.) But who knows, maybe you'll already have a caravan behind you. Maybe you'd prefer to meet up further down the road like say in Chehalis/Doty/Raymond area(s). At any rate, I'm open to your suggestions. Thanks again! |

Usual meet up spot is at the porno park and rob at exit 77. |

I just wanted to say thanks for having us out. My kids and I had a great time.
Thanks Gwitness for reaching out to me. Also thanks to Jeff and is daughter for their hospitality in preparing french toast for my daughter and me. (Difficult to reconcile the real names and AR15.com-usernames..... I recall 3 RV's, so one of them must've been Redtazdog?) Out of curiosity, was the gravel pit that we passed on the way in, (had a bunch of earth-moving equipment and storm pipe parked in it) the original shooting pit? Seemed like I saw some past videos that looked a lot like that one (topography and access). Thanks again! I look forward to the next one! |
