With this new fancy-dancy SBR law going into effect soon, does anyone know of some local engravers that have done good work in the past?
I'd like to engrave my trust info in the trigger guard where the trigger comes through the lower, but thus might be a but much for your average trophy engraver. |

A couple lawyers were the ones who said it was likely a no-go. But the AG will make a decision... that could later be changed by a different AG.
You'll need to have the engraving a specific size and depth. It must be at least .003 inches and at least 1/16 inch in size. Not sure if your information will fit in the triggerguard. |

J&S in Lacey should be able to handle it. I have not been down there to ask specifically though. But I saw some of their work recently on a retirement present, it was great. I asked them at the WAC show. They don't have the tools to engrave deep enough yet, but they are looking into it, and plan on being able to do it in the near future. |
