| Just wanted to give a big thanks to all who came, especially those who made it possible. NorthWestAR and his friend Nathan had the tools and know how to get us moving. Our host had a great set up for us and was wonderful in many ways. I know I received a ton of help and am very grateful for it. My firing Romanian G rifle also thanks you. If there is enough interest I think we could run another one in about 3-4 weeks but let's give things a break and let those hard workers who helped us out so much have a breather. |

I'd like to throw a thank you out to everyone too. Looking at different dura-coat finishes and all psyched to test fire a completed rifle at the next go-around and then get them painted after that. I'm going to get the wood refinished too before the next meet. I'll probably bring the stuff to heat-treat them, and finish all riveting next time. If anyone needs more bending, I can bring my metal break next time too. It might help to get the sides folded a tad more after the press bending. |

+1 on pics. I've been shopping around for a 74 kit (still can find one sub-$900) and would love to learn from some guys who have done some building. try whatacountry - $300 http://whatacountry.com/bulgarian-ak-74-parts-kit.aspx I was too slow to get a parts kit, wish I'd gone, sounds like a lot of fun. |
