A buddy of mine had two pistols stolen last Friday evening (02/08/13) on Whidbey Island. The first pistol is a Ruger LCP .380 w/ Olive Drab frame and black slide... an unusual combo # 370-63717 with CT laserguard attached.
The second one is small percussion screw barrel pocket pistol. I'll attach a pic of that one soon. He's a small town guy, and was at the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club. A member or one of their guests stole it...... Thievery is everywhere. It really sucks as this guy is a very nice guy who would bend over backwards for people. If anyone sees the Ruger, please let me know.... |
| Briefly yes, I guess you could say that. He didn't just walk away from it if that's what it sounds like. It's a small place and a tight knit community. Nothing like this has ever happened there before as everyone knows each other, small town and all. There has always been a large amount of trust. It only takes one asshole to screw it up for everyone else. This is a small, close community. Personally, I trust nobody. But, I'm from a big city back east where people have been proven not to be trustworthy. |
