So I have a few extra parts I picked up months ago to complete two black rifle builds but only finished one. Now that this panic crap hit, should I scrap the extra parts or set them aside and buy that 700 I always wanted or should I keep digging for that mysterious lower that's never available? (also I'm kicking myself cus I was two seconds away from buying a Spikes zombie lower, but I didn't like that color zombie print. Oh well, the pirate one looked better anyway). Any suggestions besides giving away my parts? Am I living in a wonderland right now?
Thanks. |
| I think it depends on what parts you have, how much the completed gun means to you, how much you want the 700, and what you think will eventually happen with the potential AWB. If you've got everything but a stripped lower, it may be worth trying to find one, even at an inflated price. On the other hand, with prices and availability the way they are, you might be able to sell the parts and make enough to go a long way toward the 700. |

I'm pretty much a lower, barrel, and bcg away from another one. I think I'm just going to sit it out and wait until a lower is up for grabs. I'm going to save the parts and go ahead and start hunting out a 700. |
