The better half and I will be moving to Bainbridge within the next few years. Right now, we're spending a few days there at a time, to gauge the different parts of the island and to get a feel for the area. Our next trip is towards the middle/end of October, and we were thinking of doing some salmon fishing. Can anyone recommend a good charter to the San Juans/Puget area?

Although you might want to book a river trip, not a salt boat trip, at that time, as most of the salmon will be in the rivers. For a river trip, Duane Inglin or Bob Barthlow would be good options. Salmon is in full swing as we speak and by Oct it pretty much done unless you hit the rivers... Yesterdays Silvers
