I know, I know, WAC is a touchy topic around here...but the fact is: we had FUN.

Especially the Future Eagle Scout.    We spent time at all the knife tables and checked out the AK's, which he seemed particularly interested in.
Went back to one of the knife tables and he got a $5.00 grab bag with a $25.00 knife in it...! ...
Might have to research some old Russian blades or bayonets, as that seems to be of interest to the young Scout.
He's looking forward to a trip to Puyallup in the near future.

Breakfast was bought by the First Princess who earned money over the holiday season while babysitting a neighbor's dog.
The Little Princess bought me a cool Harley-Daidson knife for my birthday present.

Quite a different day than what transpired only a few short years ago, that's for sure.
Used to be a big group meeting followed by a trip to Granite Falls to the pit.  Kids included.
Now, my oldest daughter has a boyfriend......the times, they are a-changing.

It was fun to introduce him to the 'funshow'.
Overall, a successful trip.

I'm right there with you. I did a few of those, too. Now my kids are too old to want to do anything family oriented. Glad to hear you had fun.
