None in stores.
I've held one. I had to hang onto it to keep it from floating away. That's how light it is.
My names on a waiting list.
I wait.

A 30 grain 22 mag is very close to an hmr 20 grain.

Yeah that thing is pretty damn neat.  Kel-Tec has been coming up with some interesting ideas lately.

I'd be more interested if it didn't look like it just came off of a Coleco Telstar Marksman console.

Might be a good gun, but it looks like a toy.

It looks like an interesting little toy to add to the collection. Ammo is a bit spendy for a plinker though.

What are the benefits to the .22 mag over the 5.7x28? (Or steer me towards the discussion that has no doubt already occurred? )

It's a toy no doubt, but it should be a fun one at the very least.

Then you're looking in the wrong store.  Saw one at Sharp Shooting Sunday. Recognized, but wasn;t interested, so didn't check price.

.22mag is about half the cost of factory 5.7x28 ammo.

Isn't the 5.7 reloadable? I presume that would bring the cost down. (assuming bullets are available)

Actually, I've got a buddy whose got one of those fancy little 5.7 pistols. I'll ask him if he's reloading it yet.

First, I never said it was new, just interesting.

Second, how long has it been since you've seen a Grendle (if ever)?

Doesn't matter who's making it, the idea is still interesting.

Saw it at SHOT and was interested; it's a gun and it's going to be loud.  The grip wasn't great for me, it looks like it's made out of LEGOS, and the anticipated price was too high.

For a decent price I'd buy one.

5.7 "is reloadable" but the way the case is used during the functioning of the gun puts experienced reloaders on guard.

Saw 2 at the last gun show so...2 weeks?

5.7 is reloadable but the brass has some coating that causes problems. Or at least I read that a while back. Bottleneck pistol sucks to reload also.

Ive had 2 Grendel P30s,both several years ago. My dad in AZ still has one, with the mandatory broken firing pin. George Kelgren is the guy behind both companies, which is why there's so much carry over. Recall the folding stocked both action "Grendel SRT" rifle?
I had both my Grendels about 95-97 ish. 9mm was only slightly morethen 22mag and I didnt shoot the Grendel much so I traded/sold it then and found a deal on another one later on with a busted firing pin. Keltec was still selling Grendel parts back then so I bought 2 firing pins and got mine up and running with a spare and then sold/traded it off. I only recently started buying 22mag in bulk and enjoy shooting it but its not cheap like 22LR, its $150/K or so for BVAC from Guns & Shizzle.

On the flip side the 5.7x28 out of a pistol is the equivalent of a .22 mag coming out of a rifle... and I wouldn't trust my life on anything rimfire.

It does look cool though.

The only thing I would consider going to Spokane for is Hookers and blow, (that someone else paid for)

I went shooting at West Coast Armory last Sunday and they didn't have one but looked it up. He gave me a price of less than 400.00.

That means sharp shooting is asking 550-600

Mary's has sold one or two. If I recall they've spent more time back at Kel-Tec and not with the owners.
