I've got one of each sitting here and only have experience with one of the two (and it broke at the last LCR). I don't want to say which one broke because I don't want to bias your opinions.

If you have experience with these buis, I would appreciate your input. If you could choose between either one to put on a 16" flattop 5.56, which would you choice?

The Matech is far superior as long as you don't overtighten it.

I'll IM you my address and you can feel free to send me the one you don't want!!

I have 2 Matech's and both have been fine.  Of course I've never had any problems with anything from Knight's either... So I'm not much help!

So I voted Pie.... I like pie!

I like my Matech.  I have no experience with the other.

My Matech does a fine job of keeping me from mounting my Eothingie too far back on the rail.  YMMV.

Ten to one it was the Matech that "Broke".  If it's "broke" like they typically do, it's an easy fix.

I personally like Matechs and do a preventive fix on mine, but personally would keep the Knights in this situation simply because it's good to have options.

Then again, i've got multiples, so I wouldn't be out any Matechs if I kept the Knights.

So which was it?  Overtightening it with retard strength or the pin backing out so it kept popping up?

The first.   But planning for the later.
