Tomorrow I go back to work after 17 days (Aug 26 was my last day) off for vacation. I am guessing that I will be slammed with work. Oh well, its getting kind of boring around the house. |

What recession? We get a decent hurricane on the East coast and the insurers will pull their surplus to pay for claims. This means they will be dropping their commercial trucking accounts...which leaves us open for placing more business. We have lost 15 million a year for the last 6 years to the insurers writing anything they can.
So a no death, a lot of property damage, hurricane is okay. Well, for me. But I'm a greedy son-of-bitch. Although I did get nauseous when I found out one of the carriers we worked with 10 years ago used to sell life insurance to Jews in Europe...they were also caught with a shitload of gold in their Swiss vault. The gold was believed to have been smelted from the gold fillings of Jews at the camps. Insurance. No need to steal. It is all Government regulated... |
