Ok so my car needs a new alternator, I’m getting married in September, and I want to purchase a kimber, and I just found out my hours at work are getting cut in half starting in January...not to mention student loan repayment starts in October. All said and done i have more money going out than coming in...
So in order to acquire the kimber I decided to sell a few guns, the ones I don’t really need/like anymore to offset the price of buying a more expensive firearm without breaking the bank. My question is how much would market price be for the following: Taurus 45acp PT 24/7 pro- used not beat up but used S&W Airweight .38 special-only has at most 150 rounds down the pipe I'm just putting a feeler out, obviously I might be able to get top dollar from one person and low ball from another, but I need a general consensus on where a good starting point would be. Gunbroker-Same EE-Nothing Seattleguns.net-Nothing S&W Found some info but then again i've always thought GA,GB had unrealistic pricing alot of times due to different markets having different pricing than in WA. I don't work in the industry, I just check prices online and compare a few locals with online options (their instore is the same as their online). Take off some for being used and consider the "What would I be willing to pay someone" factor. The Taurus would probably only fetch $300-$325 depending how "used" it is. They are $380-$450 new and the .45 PT 24/7's have a long record for being pieces of shit (ask me how I know). The S&W would probably be worth $425-$450, That low of Round count it's basically new as long as you have the original box, papers, etc.. They are $500 new from DGS, so I'm sure you could buy a brand new one from Mary's for 10% less (~$450). |
