I finally get a day off where the weather is nice, hot in fact and I have to go change out the steering column on the land cruiser. Then the landlords son asks me to help him change his electric, in tank fuel pump......So at about 5 pm I got time to myself after being dirty as hell all day and I fired up the forge.

Made this out of a high carbon RR spike and that is my G19 for comparison.

I'm better now, got a Sam Adams and a couch to sit on. Life is good.

Good boy. Now go kill something with it to see if it works. Actually, that's the first Glock bayonet I've seen. But, then again, I've led a pretty sheltered life so far.

Dude.....its sharp metal, on a stick when I am done with this handle I am whittling. How is it possible that it would not work? You think I fucked up the internal guidance system or something?!

I've thought about doing that a few times with railroad spikes. Collected a whole shitload of them and misplaced them a while back.

The sticky pointy thing sticks in the barrel for attachment when you're out of ammo at CQC.

Otherwise, hurling the Glock might be a better method
