Bottom fishing is good. three of my charter boats have been reporting good catches of sea bass, lings, and even a few kings. It is a pitty that the kings have to go back, but I would suggest trying the WHITE shrimp on the top hook. Most kings have been hitting on that top hook. (I would also try a plug cut herring, if they'll let you fish that way.) |

I'm alive! first time fishing on a boat, it was great...the boat was the fortuna...we were fishing for rock fish then ling cod...I caught about a half dozen rockfish, one ling cod that was a keeper..it ended up being the biggest of the group...at the last spot of the day ee were going for ling cod and I thought I was snagged on the bottom, but it turned out to be a 40lb halibut ...:)
pics later tonight.. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

So was Don your skipper fo was the stand-in driving? Sweet little boat, that Fortuna. Nice to be able to run out, and then back in, quickly. If anybody ever needs boats to go on, let me know. 2WP, were you on the Fortuna's maiden voyage last year? That got fixed. |

Yeah, yeah... I was playing around with trying to embed a video but couldn't get it to work. |

See if this increases your imbed-fu.
1. In your profile, make sure you use the full featured editor. 2. Copy the YouTube video link 3. Choose the Flash button in the editor when posting/replying to insert the video link 4. Paste in the link 5. Click OK to return to text editing 6. You'll see a big yellow rectangle (without preview during editing) as a place holder I forgot who we have to thank for those instructions. |
