As some of you know I turned my trip to LCR into a quest. I turned a 2.5 hour drive into 8.5 hours and invested almost 1,300.00 into the local economy.
To save questions later, my van broke down. I had to replace a couple or 3 things to get back on the road. 
At LCR some well meaning people passed the hat around to help on my expenses. I refused the $ and told them to give the money back and they told me there was no way to give it back because they didn't know who put in how much. My 1st reaction was to post that I donated the money to the National Democratic party. I really didn't want the money. I like money but didn't want this money. I would truly like to thank each and every person that put money in the hat! 1nascar needed some small change to make change with for crab so I gave her a couple of bucks. There is a good hunk of change left. Now what to do with the balance. Humm. I was thinkin maybe donate to a good political candidate. Maybe someone here that is in worse shape than most. Maybe a Tannerite investment for next LCR. I have custody of the loot but I don't look at it like it is mine. There is around 100.00 left. Ideas? Also I meet some of the dry side folks  I thought their group would have been a little stronger.
I almost forgot, I'm keeping the hat. |
