Has any body heard of the company Blackthorneproducts.com?? I was looking on their site about AR-15 upper kits and they have a 16 inch with lower parts kit, 6 position butt stock and complete upper with bolt ass and charge handle, head spaced and timed for $409.00.  They also have a upper assembly W/out bolt and handle for $299.00. Any one know?????

If your planning on handing them money...just send it my way and throw your lower down the driveway....

You'll  end up with a better AR that way...

ETA: I would go with a Del-Ton...way better quantity ...

Who would you recommend then??? My boss at work got this kit and it looked good and he said it went together quite well. Had no problems getting it to zero and putting it all together. My last upper I got was from Del Ton and it was great!!

I think so.

I would also say Del-Ton.  They're about that cheap, and I've heard/read good things about them.

Vulcan=Hesse=Blackthorne, Google any of them.

For an inexpensive AR got this route.

Aero Presision Upper from Guns and Shizzle with LPK installed = $140.00
Del-Ton Kit = 490.00

Sell Del-Ton LPK for $50.00

Decent AR < $600.00

I have personally handled one of their uppers and it looked good until putting it on a lower and the rear pin was visible offcenter....
Way too much to even think about reaming! Just say no!!
Buy parts locally and ask for some help with assembly..

Sorry bout that last one, I was just curious if any one had heard of the company. Sounds like I need to stick with Del-Ton. Thanks

Run away from Blackthorne as fast as you can.

Go with Delton, J&T, or M&A.

You will be far, far happier
