I'm a solid "Maybe" at this point. Dillonivik almost has me talked into it. I'd prefer to take my battlewagon, but definetly need 2 riders and gas $ assistance. Upfront, estimated trans cost is 900 miles @ 2.65/gal, 12 miles to the gal...75 gallons of consumption, or $198.75 That'd work out to $65 split three ways. Mileage is on the high side to account for side trips, ect. The added bonus I bring to the table is a stop at the Class 6 on FT Lewis and Commissary for the weekend grubbage. Drysiders? My proposal is for a Fri Am departure, NLT 0730 from Spokane, arriving at the pit 1530 +/-, remain for ADW, Leaving the pit on Sun NLT1000, with a ETA to Spokane around 1800-ish. |

The good lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'm in +1. I have requested the 29th off work so we don't have to arrive or deploy past dark.
As I have only been trolling the WAHTF for 3 months now, I will of course bring beer. ETA: I'm a gonna need a guide/intel! I live in Ballard. What is ADW? All damn weekend? All da way? |

Quoted: The good lord willing and the creek don't rise, we're prolly heading down Friday afternoon (>1500) from my work. Moon has the day off so she's meeting me there if you need a guide. Quoted: Only way I'd be able to go is in a carpool type situation if someone happened to be passing through north Seattle. If you can get your narrow azz to Exit 169 we can get you south. have to set up your own sleeping arrangements tho, we'll be sleeping in the car. Case de Bobbity? |

Is the pit tent friendly ? I've done it a few times. If you have padding it's fine to sleep on the rocks. However it's not very tent STAKE friendly, so you'll hafta tie it down to a vehicle or hope for little wind. So far, my 7'x12' tent has never blown over, but a couple of the smaller ones have. That said, I'm bringin' my van and sleepin' in it. I can bring 3 ppl up to the pit, but I only have room for one person to sleep, besides me. Veritas asked, so if the newbie gal declines, he's next in line. |

Those and a good hammer will get you in the rocks. Definitely bring the 8x10. You can never have enough of those! |
| thanks for the tip timmy.I upgraded all the stakes too the gutter spike types a while ago. talked with the wife im going. Illl offer up some tent space i will be sleeping me in a tent that comfortably can sleep 6 easy with a reasonable ammout of gear. Im me if ya want too crash in hacienda busboy. |

To start with, sorry for my absence. My LL put in new windows in his house. The wifi signal apparently won't go through the new windows, so I am now relegated to sitting at Starbux a couple times a week. As if anybody missed me, huh? So, I will be driving The Spamcan up Sattidy morning. I can rendezvous on I-5 with people I know or those vouched for noobz. I most likely will be trailed by IrishPower and Safeway6. Also, long story short...my libtard LL intends to follow me up. He's a good hearted guy, but way left of Al Sharpton. I explained the overt conservatism of our little mob, hoping he'd promise to keep it zipped. His response was, "I can take care of myself". So, he's all yours. I will keep him gun-safe, but politics are open season. I am making him bring his own trailer, so we don't kill each other. |

I'd be willing to listen to his nightly prayers to O for a reserved spot in that trailer! |
