Quoted: Not a slam against Kelsey or High Mountain, but we have found that while High Mountain has a great store and inventory, but their prices are out of line and actually higher than you can find at Rockys or One Shot. Rocky doesnt have a huge inventory, he can and will order what ever you want. We have compared prices and foun Rocky is generaly lowest, but One Shot is worth a quick look. Rockys House Of Guns 509-663-7973 I quoted this out of the Information Thread, both as a way to address mstennes comments in an appropriate place and to leave it open for others to address reviews of particular Washington gun stores. Anyway, Wenatchee has some great gun stores. I can't give a review of Rocky's as I've never been there. The location is such that it's not a "drop-in" kind of place for me and the hours are a bit shorter than the other three places. I don't know if this is true at all, but I was told by a Deputy here that Rocky's might be closing up shop soon. May be total BS, I don't know. As for the other three: Hooked on Toys is amazing and strange. Open Sundays (unlike the other two) and has everything from toys (barbie and puzzles) to "toys" (guns and hunting/fishing gear). Small gun selection, but best prices on ammo (.223, 45, and 22lr recently at least) of the three gun stores, and more accessories than anyone else, walmart included. Pleasant folks. Not a lot of black rifle gear. One Shot Firearms. Nice shop, big selection and better layout after the remodel. Decent selection of AR stuff. Carry Black Hills .223, blue and red box. High Mountain. Great selection, lot of black rifles, plenty of optics and accessories. Seems to have the highest ammo prices of the three. As for mstennes comments on prices, I have to say that in my experience it really depends on what you're shopping for. I know I paid more for my 1911 at One Shot than I would have if I'd checked in at High Mountain. Some things were marked way up during the Obama boom (basic lowers for over $200), but things have settled. I'm not happy with either of the shops' prices on lowers currently ($130), but both have MOE grips for the same price you find them online. The prices are all over the place at both shops. I've price checked a number of guns both on the shelf and special order, and often times High Mountain will quote me a price that is cheaper than ordering from Bud's and having it shipped in. The bottom line is that you really need to check both shops if you're trying to find the best price. The best part of both shops are the people who work there. I've yet to meet an asshole in either shop.
