Went to Guns n' Shizzle today for a vertical grip (and to see what else I could spend money on). Almost bought a Magpul stock, but had the feeling I should keep the money for something else. So, I ended up with the CAA folding forward grip and 3 boxes of PMC .223 ammo. Not bad for 1.5 hours of browsing, finger-f*cking some nice sidearms and rifles, and some good convo with the GnS crew. On my way home, had a gut feeling to swing by Wal-Mart in Feddy Way. Being on vacation and having all the free time in the world, I said what the heck. Wouldn't you know my gut was right... Although they still have the 6 box limit in effect, because all the ammo was the Winchester White Box stuff, each box was 100 rounds. 400 rounds of WWB .40 200 rounds of WWB 9mm And when i left, they still had one more WWB of 9mm as well as 10 boxes of Blazer Brass 9mm 50ct boxes. (As a side note, Federal is re-branding Blazer Brass into the "Federal" boxes. They're in maroon/blue/black boxes now. I guess Federal is a "premium" name compared to Blazer? Price is still $8.97 a box per 50 count though, so that's good.)

Nice find. that reminds me that i need to check out my local wally worlds. Precisely. I hadn't checked one in quite some time. I had forgotten to actually. The amazing part is that the ammo I bought came in on yesterday's truck. The guy behind the counter was surprised that there was still any on the shelf. There wasn't any .40 left when I got done though. Guess what I'll be practicing wtih at LCR?

No Mosin? They have a beautiful 38 there, but I couldn't get myself to unload $230 on it.  a big 5 flyer came in the mail today..they had m38's for 150 ish... What? The M38 I'm trying to sell @ LCR is worth $150?! Woohoo!  just like the box of 9mm blazer is worth $45... |
