Looks like my well pump is shot. Got somebody out here yesterday. They said my pump was done and my pressure tank was shot. Quoted me $6000.00
to replace everything. Constant pressure pump, new controller, etc. Does that sound about right? |

You can get them online here for well under $2k. ETA: This is dependent on your well having sufficient flow. We don't have a storage tank as we have enough flow from the well. |

All depends how desperate you are. If you can wait for a few days, etc to shop around on quotes, you can probably find someone to do it cheaper. You're paying a premium for having it done right now. Don't know how difficult it is to install the system. Might be relatively easy. How deep is your well? |

Damn dude sorry to hear this. Sometimes it's one thing after another isn't it.
Definitely you need to get other quotes, if possible. With something that high-ticket, I sure as hell would. I admit I don't know enough about this kind of work to be sure, but it does sound like an awful lot. Not like they're diggin' another well or anything. |

Labor costs were minimal since there's no well. I can look at the receipt if you want the exact breakdown. |

I remember what ours cost but trying to compare that to yours would have just scared ya.
