Saturday was a weird day. Started with a party in Chehalis at my buddy's place, it was lame tame not very exciting. Left there around 1900 and headed into Lacey to look someone up but she wasn't at either place where I expected to find her. Couldn't remember the location of a Bday party on Black Lake and didn't feel like driving into Tacoma for another party so I called it a night. On the way home decided to fill up the tank even though it was 3/4 full just to kill time.
Called Stacy, the QOS, around 2000 to tell her that I was looking at the Lynnwood house Sunday afternoon. She was out of it on the phone, more so than I have ever heard her when she's drinking, Got home, watched a bit of "Valkyrie" on the com and dozed off with the com on and Yahoo Messenger signed in, something I rarely do. Woke up at 0030 dunno why and woke up the com to see who was on. Came back from the bathroom to a message from the QOS so we started talking. She sounded upset so I kept after her to tell me why and she said that a guy had tried to rape her earlier that night. She had invited some friends over and at some point friends of friends showed up and stayed even after the original people left. She woke up to one of them trying to have sex with her. Yes, she was drinking, no I don't believe every word, yes she shares some culpability. She wouldn't call 911 and wouldn't go to the ER (she and I think she was drugged) bc the police would still get involved and in her current situation she doesn't need that trouble. She was scared but putting on a brave face so I drove up (Olympia to Sultan in 2.75 hrs, no stops) and spent the night with her until her friends could get there. She has no memory of my 2000 call and only looking at her phone's memory convinced her that I wasn't making it up. If even one thing had been different Saturday afternoon I wouldn't have been near the com as early as 0030. No it's not drama because, a lot like live fire training, as long as you recognize the dangers you can minimize the risks. |

That's crazy.....it's probably a good thing that I didn't cruise with you to Chehalis afterall, eh?
.....you woulda been neck deep in some girls bush (too busy to respond to QOS) and I woulda been stuck talking to a lonesome cougar wanting to score on some young meat.

Yep, he's just across 5 from you above Jackson Hwy and Rush Rd. Has a fully stocked bar including Ullr amd MM. Used to hang out at the Eagles before you it burned down, you prolly know some of the same people. Am considering having an ARF party there but looks like the RRR will do instead.

After reading my comment I just want to say that I didn't mean it in a roll the eyes way, more of a wtf kinda way. I didn't think about how much of the story I don't know, my bad. It's just that you here about those girls that stay with guys that beat them and stuff like that, never made any sense to me... |
