Has anyone in here done one? I am told they are easy, but watching the youtube videos leaves me wanting more information, possibly a mentor. Many of you have been very helpful with other endeavors, so I thought I would ask on this one too. I swear one day I will pay you all back, with more than a pizza and coffee. Thanks |

I have a friend in Florida, that has done a couple link to: ModulAR Weapons.com

Thanks PCR, I have been there and that is what got me thinking about doing it myself, instead of sending it off right way.
Globemaster, that looks great! That is what I would really like, but I thought I would start more basic as the conversion can easily double or triple in cost as you start adding pieces. |

Which one?
308 is the easiest. No magwell mods and no holes in the sides of the receiver. The 12 gauge is next. Still no magwell mods but you have to deal with the holes in the sides of the receiver or live with them. 223 and 7.62x39 is more difficult. You need to do mods to the magwell, trunnion and add a bullet guide if you want to use military mags. Other wise you can just use expensive mags. |

http://vimeo.com/2787027 Real good video step by step by a guy on the Saiga forums. Its the one I will be using when I get around to doing mine. |

he said it was before the stock was added, so i assume it aint in wa, otherwise his buddy likes camp fed, as we all know no SBS :( It was my understanding that ALL Saigas came into the US with a stock (sporterized), so doesn't that mean conversion rules apply, not original manufacture rules? |
