I just heard they were remaking Red Dawn. How ghey is that. That's like trying to copy the Sistine Chapel. It just shouldn't be done.

...according to the latest Hollywood gossip, an entity on the internets known only as 'ARFCOM' has fielded one of their Hometown State militia groups to star and act as extras in a remake of a conspiracy theory rooted movie called 'Red Dawn'.
Word has it that several hundred militia-types, replete with camo-clad, gun-toting, right-wing, beer-swilling, pie-loving post-whores will blanket various parts of Washington State while filiming the movie. In the original, the battlecry was 'WOLVERINES!'...but this time, it's 'GET BOTH ––- AR-rrrrrrrrr!!!', a fierce and fearsome call to arms that shows no mercy on the invading forces, thought to be the dreaded hordes from south of the border, called into action by their puppetmasters of the far east. Libertynews is right about the abortions they made out of some of Tom Clancy's best books....................those movies were not near as good as the books, and alot of important details were changed............. Yeah, I'd be shocked if a remake didn't suck ass. Remaking a classic isn't always a good idea. |
