[ARCHIVED THREAD] - need a gunsmith

I just got some DD 9.0 rails and need to get my FSB/flash suppressor taken off so I can get a low pro gas block and the FF rails on. I don't have the tools to do it. Can anyone recommend someone for me that doesn't have 1 month wait times?

You probably already know about this, but I've seen over in the AR forum where a guy just dremeled off the top of the FSB for this exact purpose. Dremel, smooth it up, refinish with cold blue or whatever.................really didn't look bad at all, and his FF tube covered most of it up anyway.

Just a thought.

I suppose I'd just call around to the various 'smiths up in the Resource page and see.

I'm in Yelm, but I drive to Tacoma/Ft Lewis 5 days a week. I have seen where people just dremmeled off the FSB, but I don't want to do that. I've already bought the gas block and would rather just get it changed out. Joguwa86, where are you?
