Never thought I would be saying this about a Glock...........(sigh).......but, damn it, I think I found the Glock I like today.
Glock 37 in .45 GAP Okay Grumpy........I am saying it.............I put 100 rounds through one today thanks to a buddy and damn it, I was sold! 25 meter shooting and I'll be dammned..........I was hitting what I wanted to hit! Those of you who have shot with me know my eyes are getting pretty damn bad.....well, today I did not really notice. The round seemd natural comming out of this frame and FELT nice in my hand as I shot. Then put 50 rounds through my P220 and guess what? Yup.....you guessed it.........shot MUCH better with the 37 then I did with the P220. Granted, they are different rounds, but I was impressed with the accuracy I was getting today. Makes a guy think.................. |
| I bought one when they first came out and wished I had gone with the 19...Dont get me wrong great gun, but I couldnt find ammo for it when it first came out. Now everyone has the ammo cause no one has the gun. I think the .45 GAP should have done better in sales, but the majority thought different. Good for you sir.. |

Not like I am going to buy one since I am piss poor lol, but was the first Glock I have ever enjoyed shooting........
But.....I may have to reinvestigate Glock in .45 ACP and see if I get the same results and then perhaps think of trading off the Sig.....you never know! |
|
I'm sold on my P220....I have yet to shoot a Glock 37, but I must say my Sig is easy to handle and I placed all my rounds in the central location of my target.
I was able to plink a baseball 50yds out and kept plinking at least 3 times in a row, I don't consider myself a skilled shooter.....but Gah-Damn that felt easy! Hmm.....I'll have to try-out the Glock at some point. I must say, I do like the feel of them. |

I don't know about that .45 GAP. If it's not dead, it's certianly well on it's way. If you can find ammo for it, you'll choke on the price they'll be asking for it. :( This. I'd say my price is pretty fair. Limited supplies on hand. Price not available in alaska. Batteries not included. Firearm sold seperately. Your mileage may vary. OAC, IIRC, SIIHPAPP |

OAC, IIRC, SIIHPAPP Take it to the EE biatch! Naw, you know, I have to admit I've read alot of reports of the Glocks in .45GAP being extremely accurate. Not sure why from a technical standpoint, but that's what I've read. That is one redeeming quality I suppose. Yeah PatchO, put a G21SF in hand, see how you like it. Grip is just a bit less "huge" than the G21. Gotta say though, you and MidnightCreeper are on the right path with those P220s. Damn fine fighting pistols by all accounts, and a very well-proven design. PatchO, what kinda sights you got on yours? Ever considered fiber-optic, or XS Big Dot? I have a Hi-Viz fiber optic front on my G17 (red), the good one that's encapsulated, not the shitty one with the interchangeable bars...................it picks up great, even in low light. I'm very happy with it. It was a cheaper option for a bloke like me who couldn't afford nite sites just yet.
I really like it though. |
