I don't know anything about those knives, but if it's functional, I'm all for it. Happiness IS a quality knife in the kitchen.  I did my best to stimulate the economy with the purchase of these last month. Leaps and bounds improvement over the trash they replaced. The cutting boards look like somebody has been blading at 45°, with a razor blade. Gonna add to the collection after my wallet heals up.   |

We've been very happy with our set. I have some henkels 5 star I love, a forschner I love but needs constant sharpening and a furi that's decent. But the masahiro is scary sharp and handles well. |

We've been very happy with our set. I'll bet. We're also very pleased with them so far. I'll be looking for a place to order a couple more. The local store doesn't have the ability to custom order, and their inventory is very limited to a few specific models in the line. Looking on the Wusthof site, there's a few others that would make sense to own. |

They had some Henkels at the local store too, and that's what I went in looking for. But all they had was the budget line, and we were looking for real quality. Best knife I ever used was an old Henkel. |
