Bought my daughter a nice little laptop 3 yars ago and recently the screen went out.
Bought a new screen and installed it following the instructions very carefully Turned it on, and...............BLACK!!!!! Everything works but the &^@^$ screen. AGHHhhhhh...!!! |

Shut the whole thing down, unplug any battery or power connected to it, let it sit 20 (twenty) seconds. Leave battery out, fire up on main power. Then try the opposite, no cable, just batter., 3. There's a little, teeny, tiny, itsy, bitsy button that when pressed, turns off the monitor. Sometimes during re-assembly, this button gets stuck in the off position. Look for it, make sure it's not stuck. And before you say, "No shit sherlock, I tried all that, I'm not an idiot".....eh, fuckit say it away.  |
