Sorry no pics but I got to say that I had a blast. I used my XDm 40 with no problems. I had the jitters when it was my turn. The first stage I had so many F-ups it wasn't funny but when I got to about the 3rd stage I started to get the fell of it. I know I didn't have a great score but it was a fun experience and I will be doing it again. Time to become a member. They have another one in April that I will be attending. I need more practice. Some one on said to slow down but it was hard to go slow and that's when I started to fail, that and paying attention on what to shot when and how many to put in. I would see some one do it but when it was my turn I would forget. All and all I met some cool people and had fun. Does anyone else here shot IDPA?

That is all

Which club?

I know of Norpoint on Wednesday, and Renton every 3rd saturday.

Went to me first one last month, and will probably make it a monthly thing from now on.  Managed to shoot a "clean" stage in my first match, and that was quite awesome.  Racked up a good number of procedural faults though... not staying behind cover, not reloading from cover, "tactical sequence", etc. etc.

Still scored in the 3rd quartile though,

North Whidbey Sportsman's. I only shot one clean Stage. On the of are stages we had to put a lock on are gun and then put it in a box with the key in are hand. It was hard to unlock that damn thing. A guy shot out a window in one of the car props when he was shooting from cover. At least that wasn't me. IMO its a great way to learn.

I did get a 2 for one. We had a tactical priority stage and there was a target 5 feet away and a steal plate about 15-20 feet. I shot the target at 5 feet and hit the steal target in the same shot. It was my high light of the day.

Just think:

1) you had fun.

2) you are becoming a better shot under pressure

It is all good.
