Quick jump to go from an $85 rifle to a $1k rifle. Not really a nice Finn 27,28, 28-30 will run around $500. Some rarer Finns and sniper rifles go way higher. They made 18,000,000 mosin 91/30's that is why they are $85. it's all about rarity when it comes to collector gun prices. |

I have an M39 I got a few years back for 159.99...when that's what they were going for, everywhere. Its a 1968 (built on a 1914 Tula/Star receiver)
995.00 for a sporterized version of the same rifle that was designed for the same purpose? Gouge on the evil bla....err....bubba rifles! |

It's not a Bubba rifle.
Finn M39 isn't a " target " rifle. The 28/76 is a target rifle and a very rare rifle and most likely a collectors bargain at $995 No different really than a NM 1903, Springfield Armory made specialized match versions of 03 Springfields can be worth THOUSANDS of dollars. |

My 1968 was built as a training/target rifle. My M39 might not be a "match" rifle by any means of the imagination, but that doesn't change what it was designed to do: train in marksmanship. That's exactly what these are...training rifles. |
