Okay you ham type guys........got a house now and landlord says I can put an antenna up....on roof....side of house....whatever. Cool!!!
Okay.....so like I need to get a 2 meter 440 antenna on the CHEAP! And I stress CHEAP!!!  Unemployment sucks LOL!
So, anyone have something laying arround??

Stuff a rollup J-pole in a PVC pipe.
Google Jpole, you will find some pretty cool stuff. Also if you are just trying to extend the range on your HT, just get yourself a magmount antenna, and put it on the cookie sheet. Find a nice high place to put it. I ran one of these on the roof of my back deck for several months with good results. |
