Anybody know anything about an Air Bag (SRS) system on a Chevy Truck?
Anyways I am thinking that the selector switch for the passenger side has a burnt out bulb and this is causing my problem. I don't have a scan tool the check if there is any codes but here is what I am thinking. This is the thingy I think has a Burnt out light 
The air bag problem light stays on when the switch is turned to off. If I am reading this right it looks like it senses the light and if the light was bad (open) the signal would not get through. does this sound right to anybody? Here's the schematic of the switch 
Looks like the power goes in "B" and comes out on "E" when the switch is in the off position and "A10" is the controler. |

There are 3 lights... 1 is "ON" the other is "off" and the 3rd is wires to the dash lights...
When the switch is "OFF" there should be a light that goes on that says "OFF". I think the "OFF" light is burnt out. If this is the case will the BCM see that the light is burnt ot and the light the "MALFUNCTION" light |
