I recently have purchased some rocking car audio set up only problem is i am less then qualified to install it. I have been trying to deal with circuit city and they have been by far the worst company that i have ever had to deal with. And this is where you guys come in.

Options

A. Someone suggests a good local place (around bellevue) that has been reliable in the past.

B. If someone works as a installer to do it under the table for 120$.

Now ill continue to search on the internet for a good place
I will never go to circuit city again.

What did you buy to install? It is relatively easy to install the stuff your self, depending on what you got, assuming you know a little about wiring.

Try sending BigScrun a IM.  He might be able to help.

with my TL its alot harder to do because you have to by-pass the old amp set up. I have done it on others cars but its just to much hassle especially how slow i do it.

I replied to your IM.

If doing it yourself here a few tips.

Have the correct tools, make sure you have ALL the parts you needs together, give yourself 50% more time than you think.

If paying someone, don't do it under the table, you have no recourse if a bad install occurs. Based on what you want, $120 is alot of money. The AVERAGE shop rate on the eastside is $65-75 per hour.

Did you already buy your amp install kit and RCA cables? This can easily be another $35-$75 at they are needed.

Typically shops will charge you MORE for installation of used or internet purchased gear. Less and less installers do side work anymore. My average guy makes $3k-4K month, my top guys make $7k+, they don't have the time or desire to make less money working at home on their days off.
