Anyone local, preferably southend, that can thread an AK barrel? Need a WASR2 threaded 14/1 left. Thanks! Lumbergh |

I've got the 14x1LH die. But no 5.45 tat. I did my SAR-3 without a tat. BUT, have you measured the diameter of the part you want to thread? If not, measure it with a micrometer or calipers. The exposed part of the Sar-3 barrel was too small a diameter to thread 14x1 lh. I shortened the barrel, crowned it, and threaded the area that was under the FSB. Then I pinned and welded a M-95 style flash hider on it.
