For a change I witnessed it and was perhaps involved in the slightest  I got stuck in the parking lot known as I-84 during the 4 o'clock rush.. made it most of the way to 205. The center lane is always whats bad so morons always rush the right and left lane to cut in. Well... This jackhole in a brand spanking new BMW 745 starts to cut off a guy behind me, but he fails to actually pay attention to me. Traffic had once again stopped and this guy kept going right into my sturdy chevy bumper, watched the whole thing in my mirror  The plus side? No damage to my truck other than some chips in the plastic liner on the bumper(that was already kinda beat up). Thankfully it wasn't the crappy bumper that GM put on the Blazers, otherwise I'm sure my bumper would've taken some of my rear quarter. His bimmer had the passenger headlight smashed and the front quarter was dinged pretty good... kinda felt bad but really was a very avoidable accident and his fault. Got his info and told him I wouldn't be filing a claim since I didn't care about the small scratch on my bumper. Gotta love Oregon drivers

Doh! I almost hit a guy this AM  Merging on to 522 I'm towing a 16' box trailer I get up to speed, ie 58mph, OVER the speed limit to merge in behind a white mini van. I check the lane and see a gray car with no lights on 6 or more care lenghts back so I think cool pelnty of room, remeber I'm going faster than the speed limit..... The ass hat speed up. My friken trailer is bigger than him! I almost hit him, but no I, like always double checked and I'm luck I saw his gray car with no lights on in the early am light in the GRAY RAIN and road spray. |
