Nothing special, just a Springer 1911.
Then again, you can never have to many 1911's

Got board on my days off so I refinished a R-9 that I picked up a wile back for next to nothing.
Thing was nasty. They lost the trigger spring and detente when it was pulled apart, (I think) to do a brush on bluing.
Thing came out a lot better then I expected.

New build on the upper.  SA&A stripped upper, BHW 16" mid length barrel, YHM flash suppressor, MI 12" handguard, Magpul furniture, ALG 4.5# trigger, and some other goodies I have not put on yet.  Just ran 80 "get to know you better" rounds through this rifle and it ate everything up that was fed into it without a hiccup of any sort.  This was my first upper build and was thoroughly enjoyable.  Can't wait to start making hand-loads for this animal to see what it can really do!
