So I had a really good milkshake and sucessfully tried to replicate it at home:

1 bottle of oatmeal stout or black butte
4 good scoops of vanilla ice cream
Hersheys chocolate syrup to taste...

Makes enough for two people to enjoy...

Fricking delicious...

What's so wrong with just drinking the beer?

Black Butte Porter is good stuff, Maynard, even Mrs. Drang likes it, and she doesn't usually like the "chewy" beers I favor.
I'll have to try this.

Filipino guy across the hall from me my junior year broke his jaw in an Arnis Amano (sp?) tournament, we--well, OK, the chicks in the dorm made him--made him pizza shakes and beer shakes.

That's what inspired me to find the recipe.  So out I went with a six-pack of black butte, ice cream, herysey's syrup, and KY.... oh wait... that's something else...
